The OLIVE model Ref. 2993 is a mechanical chronograph with manual winding, featuring a stainless steel case with compact dimensions of 41 mm (43 with crown) x 50 mm x 13 mm. The movement used is the excellent SEA-GULL ST 19. The Seagull St19 Cal.LO1B is a manual-winding movement with "direct" chronograph functions, controlled by the COLUMN WHEEL. THE COLUMN WHEEL is the sophisticated control center that enables the start and stop functions of the chronograph. The characteristics of this refined device are its remarkable technical value, precision, and smooth operation. Only high-quality movements maintain this feature, which, due to excessive production and calibration costs, has been replaced in most chronographs with a simplified, much cheaper trigger mechanism. Also notable are the reliability and excellent finishes, clearly visible in the following photographs. In our workshop, this movement is disassembled, inspected part by part, and then reassembled with tolerances and precision recommended by the most sophisticated manufacturers, subsequently regulated in 3 positions and tested for 7 days.
